My Medicaid was cancelled right before I had to move and pay nearly 3x for housing. I reapplied 6 months ago and have been reapplying at least once a month for 6 months. I have called dozens of times and I have been hung up on every single time. After 6 months I have not talked to a person. I can't continue to push work aside for telephone meetings that they set, but will never answer the phone. The mail I get from them boggles the mind. I've never dealt with any department of any agency that is this disrespectful, demonstrates a complete lack of accountability, and shows not the least bit of integrity or professionalism.

I been waiting to speak to someone about my benefits for 31/2 hours no on ever picked.people are losing Benifits due to this because we are told to call at a certain time only to not get a answer. They should have certain employees take care of appointments for a certain amount of time during business hours to insure people with appointments can get a answer this is crazy

Interviewers are nasty and actively manipulative to try to screw you out of benefits you need. There's no consistency to what they require, one interviewer denied me based on a series of checks that didn't represent what I normally make and I was disqualified by twenty dollars and she refused to let me submit more recent checks that would qualify me. This interviewer also did not send the reapplication documents I asked her to send and this delayed assistance I needed. The next interviewer after I had reapplied (and waited two hours on hold) required me to submit my two more recent checks. So there's no consistency or flexibility their singular goal is to disqualify you. This second interviewer also began to argue with me excessively and accuse that my child did not live with me because I mentioned I was running out of time and my mom was needing to drop him back off to me. My mom was babysitting and she was arguing that this meant he didn't live with me. I kept having to repeat myself and finally I asked if the interview was completed because she then seemed hellbent on just holding me up to troll with me and she admitted it was so she was just being antagonistic to a burnt out single mom for a power trip. There appears to be no professionalism, no ethic, no oversight. They've sent me return envelopes in the past with addresses on them that even workers have admitted to me in the past go to piles no one looks at. Literal dead ends built into the system to discourage people from getting the help they need. I submitted a complaint to civil rights email associated with them but it feels like not enough. I'm disgusted at how they treat people.

Im trying to get in to my account to see my EBT card information. Plus trying to make account for job and family services. I dont have a computer I just have a smart phone. This is insane I'm getting ready to get kicked out of school because I can't get anyone to answer the phone at title 20. I'm on hold the first time 5 hrs no one ever got on the phone or called me back. Here I am trying again system said I would be on hold 58 minutes been holding for over an hour who is in charge over there

I live in Wv and they stopped my benefits because they say I am receiving benefits from Ohio and I need Ohio to straighten this matter out. Please fix this issue..

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! Pretty bad when you call to try and get information. The only way to speak with someone is Sign up to get a call from them 1 week later. Wait around all day on the phone call and when they do finally call you you just listen to elevator music and it says everyone is busy. Why even call me then!!! I have customers I need to be talking to instead of wasting my time being on hold with you! Whoever is in charge of this should be fired immediately! You guys need to get your *** together!

The CSEA in Cuyahoga County has done very little to collect child support from my son's father (obligor) - who was employed for nearly 4 months and did not pay anything during that time. I continually called CSEA and sent messages regarding my late payments, yet they did not follow through in a timely manner - costing me thousands of dollars in past due support. Today I spoke to a 'supervisor' who identified herself as Faye McGuire. She expressed no concern whatsoever with all of the money that they did not collect (or the fact the obligor did not pay anything), but claimed that 'now' the payments have begun and the obligor is paying 20% extra, or $149 extra a month. This is not sufficient considering the debt I am in now for past due utility/car payments, finance charges, pay day loan fees, excessive credit card debt (due to charging everything I needed including food and clothing/necessities for our son). My son's father kept all of the money - even though he was paid nearly $1,000 weekly for those (nearly) 4 months. I have repeatedly asked CSEA to follow-through with the obligor's employer, yet they continually made excuses for not being able to collect the payments - claiming they 'could not locate' the father, didn't receive any response from the employer, etc. There should be some type of parent/job locator system in effect to prevent unnecessary delays - and if there is one, Cuyahoga County isn't using it as they should. I find it very hard to believe they could not locate his employer. Faye McGuire refuses to take any further action to collect these payments. The obligor leaves very little in his bank account, puts his possessions in his wife's name, and structures his tax exemptions so that he doesn't get any tax refund back each year (to prevent CSEA from confiscating it). Although there seems to be laws out there - which would assist families in collecting what is due - they are not in effect. They are completely useless and disregarded by Cuyahoga County's CSEA office. A child's needs cannot wait, yet CSEA does not care.
